I liked the reference style of his books and wouldn’t mind something similar but I’m open to other ideas. I realize I can get his books off of Amazon, but something a bit more up to date would be nice. I’m interested in pretty much all of the topics, but more focused on taxes, insurance, etc. rather than investing.
Anybody have any good recommendations?

People recommended Rich Dad, Poor Dad to me..but looks like you have been reading since long so it may be very elementary for you..check it out though.
Good work on the blog.
Thanks for visiting.
I actually looked at that book a couple years ago when the hype around it started to die down a bit and it seemed more motivational than ‘procedural’. However I may have to take another look at it as I mentioned it has been a while.
Thanks for the return visit. It looks like I was typing up my next post referencing yours while you were leaving your comment! If I recall, blogger doesn’t handle trackbacks, but I left one anyway.
You have a quick turnaround time :). Appreciate the link and the mention.
I have added to my blogroll.
I would not recommend Rich Dad - it is really more like Hype Dad.
I still have the Givens books on my shelves from years ago. Might have to pull them off the shelf for a review now.
Dogberry
Dogberry Patch
I wish I still had mine. I might have to go ahead and buy them again.
