Weekly review

I’m a regular reader at ProBlogger, but I really love this post!

Seeing as I’m looking to open a new savings account, the comparison done by
Simple Dollar
came at a perfect time.

I got an email from Brandon who runs the Money for Military blog informing me about it. I’ve added it to my blogroll and I’ve subscribed to its feed as well. Being a former military person I can certainly understand some of the trials of personal finance while serving. Check out the site and give ‘em some love.

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately over at Steve Pavlina’s new forums. I’ve been reading Steve excellent blog for some time now and there is a lot of good discussion on his forums. I’ve mostly stuck to the business and technical topics, but there is plenty there for everyone. Henry from BinaryDollar.com is a frequent visitor as well. I’m sure a lot of other PF bloggers could share some great insights there as well!

Trent over at The Simple Dollar has a good post about how he plans to invest his son’s allowance. I think it is wonderful that he is thinking so far ahead. Read all about it. He also gets double dibs this week with this post on a personal diary for his financial ideas. A good read.

I already blogged about this one, but John Chow’s post about the upcoming changes to AdSense is good for everyone.

Well, that is this weeks roundup. Enjoy!

Dude your site looks friggin sweet. Mine looks like a pile of crap. Thanks for the link. You’re in my Google Reader now. Thanks for serving our country (military-wise).

Wow, thanks for the compliment! I believe you are my first subscriber. I’ve already added you to my both my blogroll and my reader, and I visit every so often, so keep up the writing.

You are quite the conversation starter on those forums and they generate some good replies. I’ve never been good at starting threads myself, but I’ll work on it a bit more :-)
Good job on the lifehacker link, I sure hope it has brought you some good traffic. It is those kinds of breaks that can really help a blog take off.

Oh, your site doesn’t look like crap. It is nice and simple. Dare I say, uhhh, binary?? :-)
